Unless you’re talking specifically for pinehurst trips, the answer has to be CLT. You can get pretty much anywhere in the country on a direct flight, during non-Covid times there are excellent food options (for airport food), and the lounges available are good (multiple admirals clubs and a newly opened Amex Centurion lounge).
I think the only airline out of T1 is southwest
@JScore the RDU choice seems to paying off NICELY. Honestly sounds like an updated Fargo airport to me (small regional).
american hub, my issues at CLT with AA was always at check in seemed to always be a mess, once through security (like most places) i could breath a little easier
I fly delta out of DC, im screwed out of DCA, but if im out of IAD the upgrade chances go Way way up.
however…i see a lot of ATL, DTW, and MSP
The RDU vibe right now is peak. Digging that.
11 days out.
Also realized I better being tipping cash for the airport as I am gonna be a clown dragging a golf bag and a full size check bag around.
RDU have the express check at the curb for baggage on United?
This is THE vibe. Also, could always picture myself thriving in Raleigh despite never having been there. So that was a plus.

My own body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The stuff at hotels makes my hair and skin feel weird after a few days. I prefer Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle.
-
Black Coffee and a bag of pretzels or the occasional Uncrustable, on long flights I’ll throw in a bag of sour skittles as a mid flight bump.

Your up @ChickPhilA
Other fun facts - I always have to have two tees, a ball mark and a divot tool in my left pocket only. I like to untilize my back left pocket for an extra ball and my back right for a scorecard. I always always put on my right shoe and sock first before a round.
@Hwhite can be trusted
Great gui in his own right.
Underrated thought here though, need to have my own supply as well. It takes work to look this good! Also shout out TJ’s.

Long flights always like a pre-flight cocktail in the morning or a beer afternoon/evening.
I am going to need to know where you got this.
A classy choice.
