I don’t have IG so hopefully it’s okay to leave a comment here but listening to your pod with him a little while back he touched a little on the course length but adding bunkering and redoing every green being the way they added nuance and strategy to the course for the better golfer while being a “short” course also was inviting to the recreational golfer.
In the days of roll the ball back, courses getting lengthened, built “bigger” etc. does he see this style of navigating the inability to lengthen most courses dramatically becoming more popular with complete renovations like park mammoth? More so does he see this becoming his “niche” as he makes his mark on more courses. Maintaining pace of play, being friendly to a wide range of golfers, but still having something for the better play to keep returning and stay appealing etc.

Love it, our “ask questions through IG” isn’t supposed to be a barrier but just supposed to provide the space for folks to quietly ask their questions. Appreciate you listening to the last episode he was on!

When I decided I had to make it out to this years extinction I figured I needed to do as much homework as possible on PM lol. Went back and dug up the old episode and some recaps haha

The boys took a little scouting trip today and while I’m sad to say the course has hit dormancy, it’s still so much fun — every time
Happy to report Buccee’s is making great progress, and I’ll be sure to take some pictures of the clubhouse when I take the honey hole back (it’s getting a paint job)
