I’m afraid I’m going to have to back out of this event. Just found out I will be starting chemotherapy for prostate cancer in early April. Pretty sure I won’t be able to play 36 in one day. Will be pushing it to get in much golf this summer at all but I’m going to try ! Wanted to let you know so that my spot can be freed up for someone else

We have a group of 8 headed to Park Mammoth on 2/28… After several inches of rain, followed by inches of snow, we’re itching to get out on the golf course. Holler if you want to join!

The new GM is an absolute dude! Park Mammoth made a home run hire. He wants to figure out a way to prevent this year from being our last edition of The Extinction at Park Mammoth, so we’ll see where that heads, but at least we’re in a better place for this year than we were a month ago.
The houses on the road driving in are almost all completely gone, the parking lot has been extended, and the mowers will lower a bit more on the short course next week. For late February and a steady 4 club wind, golf course was in really good shape.
My excitement around Park Mammoth is back, I even bought a hoodie in the shop today (s/o FJ)
