Spotted Cow is like Wisconsin fruit punch. I don’t actually consider it real beer. It’s more like a beer refresher.
There are those who will tell you Spotted Cow is inferior. It’s not. It’s just not Moon Man. And that’s okay.

Spotted cow is Wisconsin’s Miller Lite and I’ll die on this hill now that the company that makes Miller is called Molson Coors.
For the record, I tell them (MCBC) the same thing.

I still maintain that (western)Pennsylvania Ohio Michigan Indiana Illinois Wisconsin and Minnesota comprise the Great lakes region an entirely separate region. Trying to fit all these states into what amounts to four regions just irresponsible.

Cow is good, Moon Man is GREAT.
Spotted gets all of its hype from being the 2nd easiest NG beer to drink (after Two Women), and the fact that NG doesn’t distribute outside of WI. It’s nothing special, and not that good.
