I know you included the /s but we’re gonna nip this in the bud right now.

I know nobody is actually accusing him of manipulation, but I played with Jeff Monday and he was golfing his damn ball for some stretches there. Fun to watch

I use sick probably way too much in my day to day life, but I swear every single shot out there I was saying it. Both in “holy shit that is using the slopes and coming back to the hole” ways, and “holy shit that lie is so fucked” ways.

The hot dog slander is justified, BUT… that chili was a game-changer. It was a no-bean chili. Definitely recommend everyone grab one next year.

And I mean…

Who else came home with far too many red cups?

Technically, not even the turn! People* had 11 holes left after the chili dog.

*I, of course, finished after the chili dog on hole #7 both days.

I’m only here from time to time these days but just wanted to pop in with some news.

  1. We will be doing it again next year. @bignanski and I will discuss with Landmand and select two days for 2025. We will once again secure all 4 cabins. Additionally, this time NO ONE else will be on property.
  2. I’m extremely grateful for the work Nanski and @kcurry11 did here. I did very little.
  3. I was distracted somewhat by the 20+ folks I had that were not Nest (or former Nesters like myself) and therefore I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with anyone from here
  4. Meeting Dan K was a highlight! Wasn’t playing with the clubs I bought from him but a gentleman and a scholar! Met a few others whom I’ve interacted with and you’re all pretty damn awesome.
  5. If I am able to go next year, I’ll give up the onsite cabin to the masses.
  6. I hope some all of you were able to grab some booze. I don’t know if we did a great job getting them distributed. Next year would love to honor Sweetens Cove and set up 1st tee Bourbon shots.
  7. Walking both days was brutal. My legs hurt more on Tuesday than either day on course. Was fighting leg cramps hard on Day 2. Wind was so vicious day 1 - that 2-3 club wind and my 2 way miss meant nearly a triple digit number. Woof.

Really think everyone making this the biggest NLU event ever went overlooked and hopefully they see the love you all give them. Great work and thanks to everyone.

At league tonight, seems the Cornstalk winds followed me to Wisconsin as it’s windy enough where I am once again hatless. Time for a beer

I definitely did not. I have almost 3 of the 4 cases in my possession. By the time I had the wherewithal to start just handing them out to people (because most of the winners were gone by the time we had all the scores in and had identified them), there weren’t many people left. So I have all these names down and will distribute the next time I see people. Or I can return them to LGD stock, whatever you prefer.
