Between you and I, I think our best ball score would have broken 80. It was par or double the whole day, nothing in between

How many holes did you get in? (Note: if you say 9 it will deeply affect my mental health)

I feel honored your first post is a reply to me. I feel bad that I’m going to say @kcurry11 and I had a delightful 9 hole walk. Hit multiple shots into 7. Kyle came a foot short of holing out using the giant backstop.

Hey everyone — I took the weekend off from the Refuge.

I really appreciate all the kind words, but the credit truly belongs to everyone. The success of the event comes from its simplicity. Sure, we could always add more, but why? As long as everyone’s having a good time, that’s what matters most — and we’ll keep moving forward.

Special thanks to @midwestgolfbum and @brettfreddy5 for everything they’ve done to make the event what it is.

Also, a big shoutout to @HackMarkham @EConroy419, @andrewf, @baldvinny, and @midwestgolfbum for never missing a Burban and officially joining the 5-timers club.

Huge thanks to everyone who brought a bottle to share — we’ve come a long way from just a single handle of Elijah Craig.

@djpie said it perfectly on the pod: this event feels like the first day of school. Everyone’s rocking new shoes and shirts, trading gear they’ve collected all winter. It’s such a great feeling seeing everyone again. This is a truly special community, and I’m grateful to know each and every one of you.

More to come as I get settled in the office.

Appreciate everything you do online and IRL. The robes were a really nice touch.

Greg had a hell of a Saturday, I felt honored to share a tee box with the legend himself. Looking forward to doing it again sometime, even though I was referred to as his “kryptonite”

I will take it all in stride though. Let’s run it back again next year

Would’ve been better if Penny Marshall didn’t have a dead battery.
