Just got approval from Soule to extend the event to 40 people.

We probably won’t get to 40 total but just know if you are currently on the regular sign-up (green area) you’re basically in right now. There will be attrition on the yellow sign-up area anyway. We had 13 players the first year and 24 last year. My hope was to get over 30 this year. Who knows though. life happens and people understandably end up not being able to make it. I’m thinking 40 players is my current cap for what I have the mental capacity for.

I don’t know if this event will ever get big big. All I know is I like teeing it at Soule with good people. And the last two years have been a blast.

Excited to get back out to Ojai.

For those asking about Rustic Canyon, @Rickdiculous and I plan to play late Thursday morning (2/26). Somewhere around the 10-11am area.

From there it’s off to Ojai, specifically the patio at Zaidee’s.

EDIT: to avoid bogging this down, as of right now I’m planning to arrive at 9:40 at Burbank. If we could do 11:30 that would work with me getting my stuff and travelling.

I’ll only be able to commit if my daughter misses the lottery for ski school this winter. If that comes to pass there’s a flight that arrives in Burbank at 9:35 and I’ll try to swing it. Lotto results come in early November. Cc: @Forty

First round conversation with wife has been had. Very positive so far. Concerns over weather differences between MN and CA at that time of the year.
