And depending on the direction, either 7 or 12 would also be doable.
We do not, but I did move @McDuffin up to KJ’s spot since he requested an early time some time ago.
This leaves the dilemma i was hoping to avoid, 29 players which leaves a single in the last group. @FlyingWasp checking to see if we can have the last 4some become a 5 some.
Ok, so we did get approval to have a 5 some, but have to bury them in the middle of the pack. @FlyingWasp you’re moved up to the 1040 tee time and that group will have 5 players.
Since we have an odd # of players, @FlyingWasp has a few choices for player/scoring options that i can think of. If someone has an easier way to include a ghost player, please let me know.
A. Someone in the 1040 group get the lucky advantage of playing on 2 scorecards (easiest)
B. @FlyingWasp plays (3) 6 hole sets with 3 different players in the 1040 group to make up a ghost player (HDCP determined by averaging the 3 players course caps)
Is Jeff Knox not available?
Unfortunately his SW flight direct to Waukegan National Airport was cancelled.

Weather man Larry Sprinkle here with a quick weather update. Looking like were gonna have temperatures in the low to mid 50’s during most of our round getting a little warmer in the afternoon. Partly cloudy but assuming the beautiful sun will peak through to shine light on our wonderful rounds of golf. Sustained winds between 12-18 mph will provide some fun (or not fun) golf shots.
Let’s go launch 'em.
In other words…
Much better than last weekend at The Arboretum Club with @treeputttim when this actually happened to me…
We got dumped on at Chevy Chase a couple weeks ago. Lack of local course knowledge cost us. That was a fun walk back. My car smelled like a swamp for a week. But dammit, I made that birdie putt right after the horn went off.
It rained for more than half our round. The steady annoying rain. I would have preferred it just poured on us for a little bit than a steady rain for an hour and a half.
Sounds good. Yeah option B was a little tough even for the local history teacher to solve.
That’s a 7 hour drive. You have no excuses.
I’ve got a flight with them at the end of the month and this had me worried.
Best of luck
Note for the new-to-the-crook players, there is no range at the course. However the course right over the border (big jokes) does have a choppy range complete with mid 90s stratas and noodles if you need a warmup.
Now that I’m home…….that unforeseen circumstance was a classic case of spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and was in the hospital most of the week.
Would not recommend!
Please swing wildly for me this weekend.
You celebrated your Breakfast Ball championship too hard! Glad you’re on the mend!
