Free room and board is completely above board. And encouraged! The part that is non-negotiable is the greens fees, which was kinda the point of this thing.
The gallery scene is my single favorite NLU video moment ever. I knew it was coming and absolutely LOST it.
Such a great episode. Once I heard the first few notes, I thought âOh the music from âFerris Buellerâ thatâs a nice touchâ. To have it morph into the full scene recreation was amazing.
Contemplated making a separate thread though Iâm not sure itâs worthy - but I would love to get @Randyâs thoughts on Quicken Loans Arena changing its name to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse and the role the City of Cleveland, if not the state of Ohio as a whole, will have (in addition to Rickie of course), in bringing about the second housing crisis in just over a decade.
On a more topical note - loved the first episode. Canât wait to see the rest of the courses/season (I assume Audubon will be played) and I donât know why - but I have this sneaking suspicion that someone is going to go looooow.
@ClubProGuy must have brought in Miguel for a consult on those greens at the muni. Depending on the bounce they looked like they could be rolling anywhere from a 6 to a 16 on the stimp for a real #challenge.
Very harsh (but fair!) sanctions handed down by the committee.
Seems like there needs to be a formal reprimand of dirty booster Dylan âNevin Shapiroâ Dethier to ensure he doesnât entice other impressionable youths with free golf and a hot meal.
Funny story, Sammyâs had missed some paperwork regarding their liquor license earlier that day so they shut down all alcohol sales right before we went in. It was both very on-brand and off-brand for a crawfish place in LA, at least in my mind.
Can assure everybody free room and board was crazy coincidence. We had an email in through AirBnb with that place and checked it over dinner with Ben. He asked to see it, recognized it as his buddies and gave us his number. Phone call on film totally legit and real time. Expected to pay him through Venmo (cutting out AirBnb middle man) but he refused. Bayou hospitality is real!
