STRAPPED Location suggestion

I would recommend Evansville, IN. It’s a mid-size town with a population of about 350k if you count the whole MSA. There are a handful of good, cheap golf courses to play, as well as Victoria National, where the Korn Ferry Tour has their Championship for at least the next 9 years. Everything about the town says Strapped, as hotels are cheap, golf is cheap, and even the Korn Ferry Tour Championship tickets were free last year (local company bought a bunch and just gave them out). The location is solid, as it is less than a 3 hour drive from STL, Louisville, Nashville, and Indianapolis, with Cincinnati not being much further away. Evansville is also home to Jeff Overton, Dylan Meyer, and Adam Schenk (kind of). There is also a casino, and even a couple college campuses that Big Randy could tour.

Was just looking at that. Trying to figure how much of my stimulus check I want to spend to see if I can get the guis to my neck of the woods.

Even though the population of the refuge is ever evolving/growing, I feel like this all still inevitably ends up in Cincy/Cleveland/Columbus if people are donating this based on their own locations. Similar to Hilton Head, SC, the refuge still feels like it is located in Ohio…

That said, Bend, Oregon would be sick

Bend would be sick, one of my favorite places, pretty much everything you need.

if they want to make it difficult do a strapped in one of the most boujee areas of the country, like Strapped: Monterey Peninsula or Strapped: Hamptons

Seems pretty silly to commit to north of the border at the current moment. unfortunately

My thoughts on the amount of choices:

I think Strapped: Spokane has some real potential if the munis are cheap enough. Lots of “Strapped content,” the stuff off the golf course, that could be used there I think. I especially want to see Randy visit and talk about Gonzaga basketball LOL

I was going to post in here but the “Golf Talk” thread has me shook. I don’t know if I can ever post earnestly again.

Gotta hand it to the boys this is a fantastic fundraiser for Jax Beach. At current values Boston would get $300 and the losing cities total would net Jax beach $1500

Strapped: Cincinnati or at least Ohio would be awesome

Check out the Costco doc

Augusta/Aiken would have a ton of quality options. The Aiken Golf Club is like a $22 weekday walk, and Forest Hills in Augusta (which I did not know was a Donald Ross design) is $29.

Forest Hills being a Donald Ross design makes sense to me because when I played there as a high schooler, you couldn’t stop anything on those greens. Tough track.

Strapped Peoria would be awesome. @djpie went to Bradley and we would all like to welcome him back. We have above average public courses at a below average price tag. $30 will go a long way especially walking. I’m not saying P-town doesn’t have its flaws, but for the thesis of this show… Peoria fits perfectly. I’m just worried about the Strapped Boys blowing their entire roll on $1 beers on Farmington Rd between rounds.
