No it was an NLU towel I got from the shop. The fiber seemed different on each side.
One side took so good, the other side barely took at all

I think the printing process on the one side applies a treatment “clearcoat” to the graphics when they are printed on which is why the ink likely didn’t take. I have a few NLU towels and you can feel it and it’s sort of water repellent on one side - which is honestly a little weird for a golf towel but likely the result of the process used

follow up: if the ward sweater fits me just about perfect at an XL, should I stick with that for the wallace? or go up to XXL?
The Wallace sizing chart had sport coat 46+ at xxl so I went with that. I wear xl H&b vests but went with the xxl and hope it’s not too roomy. Oh well at that price I couldn’t afford not to buy one even if it’s the wrong size
