This is what the culmination of the Wisconsin hosted event will be. Basically, get to the finals and you’re in to the “Ope”-in. Assuming you’re not too far down the waitlist, I would think you’re going to get in between life stuff happening and other guis qualifying in some way or another.

Also, ideally, the hope would be to be able to expand to a larger field size, though Lawsonia may not allow it given what they have already extended in terms of times and food.
Since I give myself approximately a .0002% chance of making the finals, I’ll rely on life stuff to get me in.

There’s certainly worse reasons to have to miss this kind of event, but it doesn’t make me any less jealous.
Derek is a better 'tog than I am…and since I’m playing in it I’ll GLADLY yield to him haha

The nice thing about being married as long as I have is that my wife likes when I’m gone so she can watch Lifetime movies without me mocking her. Win-win.

I knew we would be able to come to some kind of understanding here, glad it was so easy. 
To those who have signed up, or those who are thinking of signing up, for the matchplay, I wanted to throw out a tentative timeline.
May 29th - Round of 32
June 19th - Sweet 16
July 3rd - Elite 8
July 31st - Possible season end event with everybody who wants to come (Final 4)
If anybody has any issues with this or has suggestions, I’m open. Just want to attempt to get ducks in a row and gauge interest in putting together an end of season event.
This timeline gives the winners about a month and a half to grease whatever palms are necessary to get to the “Ope”-in as well.
Everybody is always welcome to post when they are playing and potentially fill out a 4some with other refugees should that be of interest.

I’d suggest moving the July 3rd date to July 10th. More balanced 3 weeks between each round & easier if anyone has holiday plans.

There’s obviously some wiggle room for each, but figured this gave time to properly plan out the final event should it actually happen. Not sure we can go North Star like the Minnesota contingent, but at least attempting to get a group together at somewhere like sentry world or Lac La Belle prior to the “Ope”-in at Lawsonia, seems like a worthwhile cause.
Selfishly, I also have a lot going on in July, so assuming I make it that far, I wanted the time. Joys of planning things and all.
