Awesome, thank you!
Just stayed in Bay View last weekend, place was great and couldnât recommend it more
Do you have a link for the airbnb?
For Breweries, Bay View has couple great options. There is 1840 and Supermoon. Both break the mold of current breweries. They donât beat you over the head with IPAâs. They do a lot more small batch brews that are experimental. Then there is New Barronâs, Component, and Torzala that are also in Bay View. These three are literally in the same building which makes travel easy. All 5 of those breweries are easily walkable from each other. There are also two great bars for craft beer that I would recommend, Sugar Maple and Burnhearts. Again, all of these are walkable from each other.
place was a block away from Kinnickinnic. we walked pretty much everywhere down there. even had a garage to park in. was very reasonable for 4 guys.
This list is chefâs kiss. I would also recommend Good Kind and Ester Ev. Both are a little more up scale, especially Ester Ev. Good Kind is locally sourced, seasonal food with a great bar and cocktails. Ester Ev is a tasting menu and a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Dan Jacobs is the chef he was a finalist on Top Chef. Great experience and wonderful hospitality.
Appreciate the Midwest hospitality from everyone! Wife and I are super excited to visit and experience the other side of Lake Michigan
If the wife is a wine fan, check out Voyager and Nonfiction.
Edit: On the topic of the other side of the lake. South Shore Terrace is a very solid spot for food and beer on the lakefront.
i wish i had some friends who drank wine because Voyager was on the list. They enjoyed The Mothership and itâs $2 Hamms instead
Hi, itâs me, your friend.
You donât come to the South Side.
I would for Andy (plus you and @Badger_Wisco)
Great call.
If @Kbergen28 is with us, does that change your opinion?
It doesnât. He balances out my bad to your good
I havenât been to Mothership in years, how was it?
It was hopping, not drinking much anymore so not really my scene. Would have loved this place in my 20âs. Decent patio. The walk back to the house with a corn dog was the best part. Need more corn dogs
I think theyâd be great at a halfway house.
