Having never played Erin Hills, even I’m aware #9 is highly regarded.

But for sake of honorable mentions Lawsonia Links #9, Sand Valley 9, Mammoth 9, and Meadow Valleys 9 are solid.

If you have Spectrum internet or TV and don’t yet have Peacock (and want to watch the Badger game tonight and the 4 others later this year including 1 NFL only game) you can get some months free by clicking here: https://www.peacocktv.com/spectrum

Works like a champ.

Somehow, we’ve managed to accidentally get a front nine with a Par 36, and a weirder sequence of holes than the Links course. Good job folks!

Let’s get nominations rolling for #10 today.

3 par 3s, 3 par 4, and 3 par fives, the way it was always intended to be.

Also, really interesting that nothing anywhere at Kohler is in the first 9.

For #10 Sand Valley. Really like that tee shot from the top of the hill with the center-line bunker

Bold prediction, no Kohler holes will make the list

Second this nomination and I’d like to nominate 10 on mammoth.

13 is gonna be Lawsonia Links.

I’d nominate 11 on LL as well as the tee box is my favorite place on prop.

10 at Links is an amazing hole imo. Stupid demanding, yes, but the green is wonderful.

I hear you but the par 3’s on straights need to be here I think. I just haven’t played it enough to remember but 17 probably deserves a spot.

Agree to disagree. I actually think #13 is the worst of the holes on the back nine out there. Have played maybe 15 tournament rounds out there and just about everyone hits their 3rd shot from down below almost regardless of where the tee shot goes. So many divots and so boring as the first two shots just about don’t matter unless you are stupid long (which nobody will be in a few years I guess).

A shame to see SentryWorld shut out so far, #16 though :hibiscus: :sunflower: :rose: :tulip: :blossom: :cherry_blossom: :bouquet: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

Look… this is a great point. Facts are facts.

Agree with 13 on Links being stinky. I was lucky enough to play with Andy and Tom Doak at the 2nd Steamshovel, and Doak was ripping the hole to shreds. It was pretty great watching Andy try to back it up.
Also if any par 3 at Straits should be on the list, shouldn’t it be 12 for the back right pin alone?

In offline conversations I’ve had with people, it’s almost like cool or trendy to say the Kohler courses actually stink. That’s where my prediction was coming from.

It’s 10 yards per shot, in theory and I can still likely get up to the top of the hill on the second with that. Doesn’t mean I will be able to in 2028-2030, but that’s not the point here.

Totally agree.

I think straits is spectacular. Real? No. Still spectacular.

Is it possible, yes. In reality does it happen when 156 of the state’s best play - rarely. I guess if you #teeitforward I could see that.
