I will literally always plug Camino for casual fare in MKE even though it’s probably wildly inconvenient for you.
For “upscale casual”, Odd Duck is the pick. But again, I’m sure that’s not super convenient for the travel plans.

This feels like when I lived in Madison, and I was drunk off my ass and someone asked me where the Governor’s Mansion was located.
Multiple news articles call it by that name. But like a good little local… I have no idea. I just live here man.

If you need coffee at any point, I’m one of the co-owners at Stone Creek Coffee (local coffee roasting company with cafes). We have some convenient stops on the way to or from the course depending on the timing.
