In the notes of delis, fraternity brothers of mine opened up a spot that appears to be doing very well in Westport Plaza Jovick Brothers Deli. They also just opened a burger spot at a different location, Jovick Brothers Burgers. Haven’t personally been there just for clarification.

Did you go to Crystal Highlands yesterday? If so, what kind of shape was it in?

I did, got paired up with a couple guys both named Josh and they were great sherpas around the course, one is a member out there and plays it a bunch. It was in really good shape, only a couple patchy fairway spots. Would love to give it another look with firmer fairways. The greens lived up to the hype, they were rolling smooth and had a couple tough pins. Teeboxes were as good as I’ve seen this year.
I was taken aback at how gorgeous #7 was standing on the tee with the trees towering on both sides.
I was also playing about as good as I have all year and shot an 82, so there’s only a little bias. Would love to go back, was my first time out there.

Love to hear that. I’m heading out there Sunday morning. The grass was still dormant last time I was there so it’s really great to hear they have things looking good right now.
