Anyone thinking about going to the golf expo this weekend? Iām kind of thinking about coming just for the free shit they are offering. Is it worth it?
In my experience, No. Not remotely worth it. But I also realize I have a skewed view, being in the business.

I didnāt want to be a negative Nancyā¦. But itās kinda gross, so 100% agree with you.
IF you wanted a chance to hit some new mizzys or pings into a net, then have at it. But the lines usually suck and any time Iāve gone itās felt like a tremendous waste of time. I even won the virtual closest to the pin comp one year.

Ditto what they both said. I brought my son a few years ago with high hopes, but itās mostly a giant garage sale.
If you are looking to book a golf trip somewhere within a 200 mile radius or want to make an impulse buy of some leaf gutter covers (yep they got a booth there too) then youāll love it.
But otherwise itās just hitting shots into a net so I found it to be rather blah.

Thatās always been the move. Try and hit the lower riser up the hill. Shank it into the right trees. 70 yards left, blade it over the green. Chip, 2 putts and pick up once the 2nd putt comes back to your feet.
