It was a wet one out there today!
But we got the round in! I was able to handle @SK777 and walk away with a 6&4 victory. I was a little worried when he bombed in a putt on 3 and chipped in on 4 that I was going to be in for a long day but I was able to keep it between the mayo and the mustard. Scott looking forward to seeing you again at the Un-Fair.

I enjoyed the walk despite imploding on the front nine with a 53. The 41 on the back was truly a psycho scorecard but too little too late to catch up on my sins from the front 9.
I know me and the Illinois bois will all be rooting for Nick to bring home the match play trophy!

Would be happy to have you at Sunset Hills CC (on the east side though. BTW: will not stand for the east side slander from @DivotPatterns, southern Illinois is a LOVELY place. In fact, went to Fairmont City for some authentic Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo. Was there a broken beer bottle fight threatened right behind us? Yes, but that’s beside the point and the food was incredible)

Note - some folks have asked about remaining merch - I have a very limited supply of headcovers (with the “Alt” Fleur colors) and patches left. At some point we’ll start the process on another run of something - but that takes effort and its really not what we are about here

Hello CNFLNC Fam - sorry I’ve been MIA as I was in Ireland the past few weeks, playing the likes of Royal County Down and Ballybunion. Thrilled to return to you all and the golfing likes of the Eureka triangle. Many, many people were calling Lahinch the Pevely Farms of Ireland’s West Coast.
Catching up on some match play, we’re in the thick of the elite 8 here if memory serves.

Working on some details for the Finals at Ballwin GC. Will send a Google Form out to float dates and what not, but targeting 6/15 as we have been all along. I will prioritize dates for those left in the competition, but obviously want to get as big of a group as we can! More to come soon!

Speaking of merch, I still have a confluence trucker hat from the original run, only worn a few times before the wife told me I look like an idiot in a trucker hat. I’ve also now been put on a “purge hat” order.

Any idea on what time you two were playing or if you had room for another?
Headed to HHI in a week, not playing any of the big courses but was told recently “absolutely no hats.”
I have a visor from TSR coming soon (another hat style that she said I look like an idiot in). We’ve got issues…
