Yeah all jokes aside the shots we had to play were so fun. Approach shots were getting ejected if you landed them in the wrong spots. Great event and the weather although cold made for really fun golf

The new layout of the old Tower Tee, the proposed short course has “famous green designs”

I can pick out a possible Biarritz (5) and maybe 12 at Augusta (6), maybe a punchbowl (4). Looks pretty awesome, the practice facility side alone looks great. I hope they add TopGolf type technology like the South County First Tee driving range has. All in all, looks great. Can’t wait for it to open up this fall.

I took my son up there a couple times before they closed. He was bummed when I told him they closed and he brings it up any time we go to the range. Can’t wait to take him when it opens.

There are not a ton of places to practice in that area - if they have half a decent putting green I’m going to be so excited. The choices are kind of tapawingo and south county. The new bays at south country are great, but there are no good options for putting - add in a short course with half way interesting greens…I may never just go to a regular range again.

I live about 3 blocks from the Highlands, but I’d drive out to go that complex. The short course looks great and I could get my wife to join me.

I sure this has come up here before, but wanted to float the idea of having an STL Refuge event. I know the weather isn’t ideal yet and speaking for myself I’m still recovering from a shoulder injury, but an refuge event would be a great time. Any interest?
