Is the course walkable?
It’s a pretty easy walk, the tees we’re playing are only about 6300 yards. Mostly very good green to tee transitions (one bad one is up a hill and backwards) and a few steep climbs but those are short. I’ll add that our pace of play on Saturday mornings is usually under 4 hours, but you’re welcome to hoof it if you prefer.
Accommodations: Hilton Garden Inn is the best bet for the downtown area, just a few blocks away from our lone brewery and Frank and Lola’s which I highly recommended for dinner Friday night.

Great time yesterday at the ‘25 Supercell major, “The Gusher” hosted at Hillcrest Country Club. Congrats to the 36-hole winner and NIT qualifier @McRib. He’ll join @Dilly.eats at Dobson Ranch in November to represent the Supercell.
Up next is the Roost Regional Championship July 19/20 at Dornick Hills.

Many of the STROHs have personal connections to the devastating flooding and tragic events that occurred over the weekend in Kerrville and Texas Hill Country. The Texas captains have raised the thought of a fundraising challenge for the roost regional next weekend.
I think it would be great to support or Texhoma partners so if you’d like to pledge a certain amount per birdie or per par made by the supercell regional team, or even a flat donation rate, let me know.
I can help coordinate getting the funds to the STROHs so they can provide a bit of relief and support directly to recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Any and all amounts are welcomed!

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Supercell, I have once again found myself on this message board. In related news, I also once again find myself moving at the behest of Uncle Sugar. As of this weekend, I will be a resident of the greater OKC metropolitan area. Specifically, we are renting a house in Edmond and I’ll be working downtown in the Federal Building.
I know next to nothing about OKC outside of Bricktown (which slaps). Feel free to hit me recommendations and add me to any Supercell group or discord.

Fine folks of the supercell: with some good help from your own @rdvern big plex is hosting a makeup day for playing during the regional and would love for supercell to join! September 27th at Dornick. PM alt shot horse race, AM fun format to be decided based on group size (some form of stroke play).
$60 to walk the am, $80 if you ride, additional cart fee for the horse race, food on your own. No unknown golf, no tee gifts, just pencils, scorecards, maybe a poster, club specials and some Ryder Cup on the tv. They have blocked off 9-10am for times but will add more if needed.

@MagicLoogie did build out a discord page for us several years ago but for whatever reason, we just didn’t get any traction with it.
If someone wants to take another shot at discord or a WhatsApp group, feel free.
With that being said; my time as captain has come to an end (seriously this time). If anyone’s interested, or if there’s a group that’s interested in captain-by-committee, let me know.

Whose leg do I need to jump to get some sweet supercell flair action? Both here and any physical merch that may be available. My 9 year old is super into weather and the loves the tornado logo (as do I).
