I love it so much it’s my new pic
Well, that escalated quickly…
Kinda my MO.
I was looking up tattoo shops roughly 30 seconds after @OliveLoaf sent it over.
speaking of… who’s ordering stickers? take my $$
It doesn’t change my excitement or participation, but if i recall it may have a bearing on merch support, etc., but have we/when will we find out of we’re an “official” Roost of NLU?
Logo is dope. LFGSZN
We’re in, basis an email I received from the front office asking to submit logos.
Great logo! Thanks to any and all who contributed to it. Excited and proud to sport it soon.
Excellent. Let’s get this bad boy on a Levelwear shirt ASAP.
Hello everyone!
Long time thread creeper, first time poster. Mr. @OliveLoaf , is it too late to join the roost? I’ll add myself once given the OK.
I hope this year has brought each of you some joy in one way or another and that next year treats you even better! I’m happy to be officially joining the community. #playon

For the Tulsa guys… what club should I look at joining, if any? I am relocating to Tulsa in the new year. I have a couple of friends from college at The Oaks.
Oaks is great - the renovation was incredible. They’ve got new GM, Head Pro, and F&B Dir all starting at the beginning of the year, but the board there is strong enough that nothing should really change (if anything, new ideas might help the place).
Cedar Ridge is higher priced, and only a viable option if you’ll be in South Tulsa, but a great course.
Tulsa Country Club is a great course - the clubhouse is nothing special, but from what I understand they do a great job of member engagement out there.
Indian Springs is 36-holes that won’t blow you away, but it’s a consistently fun course to play and they have a ton of family offerings (they’re tennis facility is one of the best/largest in Tulsa); only downside here is they are in South Broken Arrow, which is about the hardest to get to, with the exception of…
Golf Club - I haven’t been out there in years, but it sounds like they lose their greens almost every other year. The course is difficult, it’s WAY out there, and they don’t really seem to give a damn about anything other than men’s golf (which is what several people want).
I’m sure the rest of the hive/SUPERCELL may have some thoughts, but I’m partial to the Oaks (even though I’m not a member out there…my family has been out there for years, but I just had a kid on the heels of putting my wife through nursing school, so the occasional guest round w/my dad is the best I can do for now)
@whk3 broke it down pretty well I’d say. I’d add that the Patriot is supposed to be really great, but hard to get to unless you’re in the Owasso area already.
Meadowbrook is an option as well. It’s got some really really good holes, but wouldn’t say it’s in the best shape compared to the other clubs.
Seems like The Oaks definitely has a lot of younger guys who want to play a lot. It was a coinflip between there and Tulsa Country Club for me, and I ended up at TCC and have loved it so far. Definitely nothing to brag about in terms of clubhouse/facilities, but the course is really good and getting on isn’t that difficult at all. Lot of good guys that would welcome you to their groups.
If you choose to not join, a rotation of La Fortune, South Lakes, Battle Creek, and Forest Ridge is still really solid golf.
Patriot is fantastic but that price point is no joke. Would also be pretty inconvenient unless you’re in Owasso since it’s out there close to Port of Catoosa
Meadowbrook is semi-private, and dying. Forest Ridge has a players club that I’ve done the last few years that’s a pretty great deal.
Thank you, gents! Beneficial information!
