Just wanted to pass along some renderings I saw at Kickingbird last weekend. At check in, they told me the last day for play will be June 30th.

Played Shangri-La this past weekend. One of my favorite places to play in Oklahoma, LOVE that resort. Courses look better than any public course I’ve played this year. Some winter burn, but all other areas were perfect. All greens were perfect.

They have three 9s, and you will have to play whatever the rotation is that day. We typically play 36 so we can get in all three routes.
I think they are all equally as good. Among my normal group, we all have our favorite 9 that’s different than each other.
Can’t go wrong with any rotation.

I walked 18 Saturday. Tons of water was drank.

Yeah same. Played in the middle day after a night of Tulsa Tough. Was barely able to hit the ball by hole 16 or so.
Shoot. I hit a token of balls at LaFortune Saturday at like 8pm and thought I would need an IV. Not sure I would have made it in broad daylight
Piling on but it was the last tourney of the US Kids season Sunday at Lincoln. We got to the course around 3:00 and I was light headed each time I bent down to tee up a golf ball while little man was warming up. Big brother came out to watch and threw up after 9 holes…it was a tough, tough scene. Lot’s of fluids were happening.
The Refuge needs to toughen up
I was out there and teed off at 1! I walked as well, and lost 2 lbs in sweat.

I played Wed PM, Thurs AM, Fri PM, and Sat AM (then mowed the yard Sat PM)…
…I’m still tired…
Anyone wanna play a weight loss round in Tulsa tomorrow? (By the time most of you see this, I mean today, the 15th). I gotta bring my car to the dealership there fir servicing at 10:30am, could do an early AM round beforehand. Or something afterwards.

Anyone ever play Battle Creek in BA? We started a new tradition yesterday. We always play 2nd tees, but we tipped it out since it’s US Open week. Lol. It was a fun challenge.
Yeah haven’t played it in a couple of years, but pretty fun (if a little average) residential course. Great staff. How’s it looking this year?
