I know, and I also didn’t mention trying to squeeze in MVGC into a packed September!

I bid on a round via charity auction a while back for the Evans Scholarship and ended up winning. (I was the only bidder…) The round is for Clovernook in Cincy. Figured, why not, since the number of rounds I’ve played this year is a grand total of 1. Will try to coordinate the Friday of Cincy 6.0.

The Evans Scholars auction for a threesome at Scioto went for $2,700. Actually somewhat ā€œreasonableā€ compared to what some of the other courses went for.

I told my friends id like the Sleepy Hollow auction for my birthday coming up, but I guess the 9k was just out of their price range

I won a Clovernook auction through Evans last year, really enjoyed the course, could use some tree management but some really interesting green complexes and a lot of fun shots.

The last time I bought a round at Scioto I paid $1,200 and it was at a fairly large Nationwide Children’s Hospital event. My buddy bought it a year earlier for over $2,500.

We will have a round at Muirfield Village in our charity event’s auction at the end of September. We might live auction it at the dinner as opposed to our online auction. Last year we had a foursome to MVGC donated by Jack and Barbara and it went for $2,600. That might have been a little low, but most people at our event who would bid that much have access to MVGC thru friends/associates.

For a round of golf, wow. And that’s not counting the money you’ll spend in the pro shop. :stuck_out_tongue:

Is that for a foursome or a solo?

Solo, but with 11 other fortunate souls who win said lottery.

I’ll stick with Park Mamouth once per month.

I dont have direct knowledge of MVGC but based on some of the things ive heard that might be pretty reasonable even compared to normal guest fees

That’s almost as much as my entire Bandon trip.

A friend from college married into a membership there. She doesn’t return my calls. I just assume I’ll never play Camargo or Scioto.

Why not both.

Speaking of Park Mamouth.

Anyone looking to make the trip in a Monday or Tuesday let me know. 2.5 hours from my place. I’m happy to drive. Can comfortable fit 3 people and bags in my company car.
