I’m riding for sure. It’s already going to be challenging enough no need to add an extra layer to that lol
I usually walk but open to either. If there are other walkers I’d be happy to join them, or happy to ride.
I found it to be pretty walkable….until it wasn’t.
You didn’t look like you were having a great time climbing up 18 last year
BlowPig finished his round today and IMMEDIATELY went to the range for a 2-3 hour session. Dude seemed to be searching for it.
I rode the back. Had to after some issues on 8 tee.
I’m intrigued and excited for tomorrow. I’ve been watching the drone videos on their site and course looks very plain, most holes are straight as an arrow and hard to see how hilly things are. I was so confused between the videos and what’s being said here, I spent 10m last night just making sure I had the right course website!
Agreed. It looks significantly flatter on Google Earth than it does in some of the pictures I’ve seen in here and elsewhere.
Google earth. King of ruining slope lol. I’ve made a note, if you can somehow detect slope in the 3-D view. Magnify it by a million. I.e 8 green and surround.
Yeah. I saw those. I need to talk to Jake. They took video from too high and stayed at constant elevation so it looks so much flatter in those than real life. I’ll try and post some fresh pictures today
1 and 17 are totally blind off the tee because of the hills. There are definitely some flatter holes but that applies to zero of the green complexes.
Just watched a YT video of Riggs from Barstool playing #9, woah!
Fun fact, you can, in fact, make a bogey by playing your tee shot off the maintenance shed way off to the right
You will all be shocked that the guy 10 yards long on 4 is not happy.
“How the fuck does this happen”
“Are you fucking serious”
go on…
Being a professional, he managed to chip it to only 3 yards off the back.
That’s so awesome, and 20 yards OVER 4 is aggressive. Wrong number or bad shot?
I don’t know and he clearly had no idea.
They have the pin in the back left.
was he not in the shit?
As is traditional it seems.
Thanks to @cussingmussel for the assistance in getting our tee times for this past Saturday!
@TheGolfNomad @Doctor548 @JJS and I had an awesome day trip. Manakiki was better than I remembered it being the one time I played it 3 years ago. Weather was 55 degrees and windy, made it feel like an early March round. And happy to report to @quicktempo that we finished at 12:35pm!
Sleepy Hollow greens can fuck all the way off. Other than that, fantastic course!
I am also now a ‘Bonus Rounds’ member, so if anyone needs an extra bonus rounds name to throw on when booking a tee time, feel free to use mine if you need to.
