It will be getting entered soon…
The breakdown of 13 at Raccoon Hill (the dumbest par 5 in North America) made me smile
If it wasn’t the perfect spring morning I’d be mad about barfing on myself double-double to finish for 80. But I wouldn’t trade away absolutely Rory strutting down 16 fairway at +5 bumping Luther Vandross.
What a life. Hard to believe we’re the only intelligent life in the universe but if we are, and I spent $70 incl drinks to have this morning, boy I hit the existential lottery
How’s Brookledge looking?
Pureeee
Hey Cleveland area guis, I’m going to be in town Mem Day weekend for a wedding and my brother and I booked an 8:00 at Sleepy on Sat 5/24. We have 2 slots if anyone wants to join!
Not a bad double Donny Ross day. I don’t believe in dying with unused personal days. I told my students to have fun studying for exams today.
Any Toledo homies have any decent course suggestions? I played legacy the other day and wasn’t very impressed.
Inverness, hope that helps!
Stone Ridge, which is down in BG. Maumee Bay is a good one too, though not in Toledo itself. Same goes for Riverby Hills, says it’s in bowling green, it’s not.
If it’s gotta be Toledo check out South Toledo golf club.
The golf though, it’s not great.
If your only looking at publics, I’ve got some bad news for you.
South Toledo sucks ass
It’s better than across the street. I’m trying to think of any actual in Toledo course to recommend, that might be the best of the options?
Though I do have an affinity for Ottawa Park.
Should come back and play it some time with real golf balls! The new management company is doing some good work out there this year.
Great times at Youngstown Country Club today with @joecline41 and @CorneliousPoon , avoided the rain
Doesn’t have to be Toledo proper. Anything within an hour that’s decent is appreciated. Moved out here from the west coast a couple years ago and I’m pretty sure I was spoiled with west coast golf.
Also, anyone that wants to get a round in, please feel free to hit me up. Making friends out here as a dude in his late 30s has been a bit of a struggle. I’ll play anywhere. I didn’t mean to sound stuck up in my last post. I spent the majority of my game whacking it around a muni that had pretty good guts but wasn’t properly taken care of. Appreciate the suggestions so far.
I played Stone ridge for the first time on Saturday with @CarlyRaeJepsenFan and quite enjoyed the course, and for Toledo pricing it’s a really good deal compared to the in town courses.
