I haven’t been there in decades so I don’t really know if the course is any good, but from what I remember of the general layout I’d describe it as a nicer Eagle Valley.

Let me know your thoughts on Prestwick. Only course in Woodbury area I havent gotten on mainly due to $$. Eagle Valley is nice, Prestwick I hear is the C Suite of the two, looking forward to your thoughts.
honestly. when i played there a month ago. greens were so slick it was astonishing. i bet it does a number on their pace of play. the price is a joke. but its year 3 (?) of the covid golf boom, and it aint lettin up……
Prestwick is pretty awesome. Rates got jacked up last couple years but it’s fairly priced. Greens are dialed for sure. Can hit it anywhere off the tee but yes greens get running hot but are pure. Great clubhouse and patio as well. Easy walk too.
This is pretty spot on. It’s nice, but not worth what they charge.

1 more vouch for Headwaters. Play it once every Spring and Fall and it’s definitely more fun later in the year when they start bringing those greens to the brink.
Can be pretty tight on the front so hopefully your 3w is still hottt.
Anyone played Grand National up @ Grand Casino Hinckley? Going to a wedding up there in a few weeks wondering if it’s worth getting out the Saturday morning after.
I enjoyed the course. There are some mediocre holes but also some very good holes, and the price is pretty reasonable too (at least it was a couple of years ago). It’s certainly worth a play if you are in the area.

If it’s in decent condition, I really enjoy it. They’ve had struggles with their greens in the past but I haven’t been there for 2 years

I drove by blueberry pines on the way to itasca last year. Looked like a really cool piece of ground! If I wasn’t with so many non-golfers, I would’ve pulled in for a closer look. It seems like there’s a lot of rolling sandy land in that region?
