Would love some additional context on each pick from the captains. Potential for alt shot/scotch foursome matches if guys agree? Not sure I want to hit too many bottom groovers that time of year so half the shots would be enticing.

As long as itās decided before the event so I can change the caps and such on UKG, I have no problem if all 4 people want to do Scotch or Foursomes

Im good with whatever, ultimately up to @Battisstatus. The name is the Frozen Fourball, and I kind of like the idea of sticking with just fourball.
However, if we get 48 somehow, we could do 8 fourball matches, 4 alt shot matches. Or whatever people wanted to decide on.

I get itās in the name but any vote on format when people are paying to play will always be in favor of playing your own ball. Was merely a suggestion if the pairings work out and itās agreeable for a small number of people could it be part of the format. At the end of the day each match is 1 point.

It would be really fun to have some different formats, if people are up for it. I know itās called the Fourball, and we can keep that, but it feels like we could use this āsilly seasonā tournament to play some fun formats so weāre not using prime golf season tournaments to not play your own ball. But thatās for another year to discuss, this year will be loaded with some awesome matchups
As much as I love me some Scotch foursomes (and I love me some Scotch foursomes), I think weāre forgetting that this is the Frozen Fourball hosted by @Battisstatus. @Battisstatus and Friends, if you will. Itās his tournament to plan and has been since inception.

I was hoping to get up there for NSS but it didnāt work out. I also didnāt get to play much golf this summer so Iām making up for it by cramming in as much fall golf as I possibly can before Iām fully committed to basketball season
