Roll Call: Massachusetts

I won’t believe it until I actually hit my provisional off the first tee.

Apparently Yarmouth will vote to open up beaches and golf (bayberry/bass river) in defiance of Baker.

Technically, I don’t believe that are purely municipal (or DCR) facilities are currently subject to the shutdown order.

The order closed non-essential “businesses” - but these are actually public parks with an access fee (excluding, obviously, the ones like Newton Commonwealth that are leased to an operator). So places like Yarmouth, Harwich, Brookline, et. al. are free to open up if the town wants to.

Agreed, but the bad news with that statement is that when/if the order is lifted George Wright won’t open anytime soon. People rail on Baker but Marty couldn’t care less about a golf course in Boston opening.

Looks like Baker will open golf up tomorrow. Mass residents only till August

Rumors, but good rumors.

I’m excited to get across the bridges in under 4 hours this summer.

Tee sheet is open for noon boys!

Among the rules: No guests, no carts, 15 min, no congregating before or after round, bag room, golf shop, locker room all closed

Tennis has been open for a week and flown completely under the radar too.

Official communication coming later this morning. In talking to a few buddies seems like others are set/planning for noon tomorrow.
