Saw that. Might do it. Temporary greens but at least itā€™s outdoor golf in February.

They posted in their social media they are using the actual greens this weekend.

That seals it then. Especially for $15.

I reserved my t time and it was 31 for 18 ā€¦ I think itā€™s only 15 when itā€™s temporary greens

I saw that. Was hoping to catch you guys on a tee box but you were cruising. We had a full open hole behind us. 18 in 3:30 for a foresome is how it should always be.

Hey yā€™all current member of the First Flight roost who is relocating to Mass this summer, likely Somerville or Arlington. Any words of wisdom and how do I join the roost?

In laws informed me of this. Might need to go visit them in Marion just to get some swings in

Cross-posting from the BTP group:

Had a couple drops for our gathering at Top Golf Canton tomorrow. 7:30-9:30 PM, $53. Will include food and prizes for the top point-getter.

Headed to Boston in June - have a work conference Wed-Fri, but the wife and I are sticking around for the weekend (Wed-Sun with no kids? Yes, please.)

We are flying in/out of Logan, and staying at the conference hotel Wed-Fri, but want to check out other areas during the weekend (and the Hilton bumps up to a cool $600-700/night on the weekend) - where do we stay/what do we need to do/see/eat? Cambridge/Harvard is definitely on the list, as is trying to catch a tour at Fenway, but what else?

(If thereā€™s a Boston-centric thread, I couldnā€™t find it so please guide me.)

Edit to add: Hootie tix at Fenway have been secured - everything else is just gravy on top nowā€¦

Staying will be on the pricey side but you can definitely do better than $600. Honestly for ease of access to a lot of the city the Theater District will be a good bang for your buck. Close to the sort of major areas youā€™d wanna get to.

In terms of food definitely go to the North End one night. Especially if itā€™s a nice evening. Great vibe over there at night in the summer and some of the best Italian food in the country.

Iā€™m partial to the Back Bay when I stay in Boston, my favorite neighborhood and good location if youā€™re going to a Fenway concert. Plenty of good hotel options less than $600, would recommend Boston Park Plaza. If you are into history check out the Freedom Trail, and definitely get reservations for dinner in the North End. Staying in Cambridge also fine as itā€™s a quick trip from there to Fenway/rest of the city (not a large city).

Iā€™ve stayed at the Courtyard by North Station multiple times when making nights out of Bruins games or concerts. Right next to the North End and an easy walk to Faneuil Hall. Green and orange line stops are also very close.

My favorite spot in the North End for food is Mamma Maria, never had a bad meal there. There is also the Improv Asylum in the North End if that is something that interests. The Freedom Trail is worth a walk. I know its super commercialized, but the Seaport is a cool spot for a drink on a nice summer day. Iā€™ve never been but the Museum of Fine Arts is supposed to be worth the trip if interested in that. The Fenway tour will be cool, if the Sox happen to be in town before the concert its worth seeing a game just for the history of the ballpark. Tickets will be cheap since theyā€™re going to suck this year.

Boston is an awesome city, have fun!

Confirmed: MFA fuqs

Also, for dessert in the North End, skip Mikeā€™s and Modern. Real ones go to Bovaā€™s.

Speaking of the North Endā€¦one of the restaurants/restaurant owners is getting dragged on twitter right now for their unreasonable cancellation policy. I have never been to Table but Jen Royle seems quite unhinged.

Saw that this morning and seems like true lunatic behavior to find this persons personal account based off the cancelation and get into a social media feud
