Still have a spot available?

Looks like it filled. 640 still there.

Planning on some Sunday Twilight golf to steal every last minute out of the weekend*…I’ve got 2 spots at Sunset Valley at 2:30pm for my buddy and I. Other two spots are still open if anyone wants to join us, feel free to book yourself. $49 to ride is a pretty nice rate!

Edit*: I’ve got f*cking pre cana classes Sunday morning and am not allowed to golf til after 2pm smdh

Since we’re throwing tee times out, I have two spots available at Heritage Oaks on Sunday at 10:10am. Walking rate is $59. Spots are already booked, pay at course.

Spots have been claimed.

I’m down, always heard good things about Sunset Valley but never made my way out there yet. Also, I’m all about the Sunday Twilight round, best medicine for the Sunday Scaries!

Nice!

Update: all four spots are now taken.

This weekend is for spring cleaning, so I am headed to Jax Park Thursday afternoon around 4ish to scratch the itch for the week. Haven’t booked yet, but open to whoever wants to join.

I’m asking this question in here because I don’t know where else to ask it. I bought a CDGA membership earlier this year, and then turned around like 2 months later and bought a GHIN membership through Brough Creek so I could have a GHIN number for PINZ/Roost stuff.

I’ve been posting my scores in both places, so I’m assuming my cap will eventually match up. Right now my GHIN cap is like .5 higher, but it’s got a few scores from 2017 that are 100% inaccurate scores.

Do I just need to cancel one of those memberships when the year is up and only have my handicap in 1 place, or is there any benefit to having a CDGA and GHIN account?

@andrewf and I are playing Prairie Landing on Saturday at 12:30. 1 spot open if anyone wants to join

I just went through this because I moved from a GHIN state (Missouri) to Chicago. I signed up for a CDGA membership but of course it didn’t have my handicap or score history from GHIN. I emailed Jodi Ciotti ( jciotti@cdga.org) and got the following reply

We do not use GHIN as our handicap vendor. The USGA does have three approved vendors.

When using the CDGA, you will use your CDGA number to post scores through a CDGA means (CDGA.org or My CDGA – app).

However, the USGA does assign a backend Handicap ID number. The Handicap ID is how the scores are transferred to the USGA for the official calculation. For golf associations that use GHIN the membership number and Handicap ID number are the same. But for CDGA, these are different numbers.

I have taken your existing GHIN and have merged this with your CDGA account. Your CDGA number will remain {new CDGA member number} and your Handicap ID will be {existing GHIN number}.

So… Answer is yes. I would let the GHIN expire and then have them merge it next year. Not sure what this will do to your cap/scores since you now have two different score histories.

Howdy all. Just poking around and recently found this in the NLU forums.

After messaging with @TeddyPargame I was told I had to introduce myself to the crowd and take my hazing. So here I am.

Live on the north/northwest side. 5ish index but play to a 9 most days and getting in these Roost events sounds fun.

Anyway, going to lurk for a bit.
