This part of the bracket is a vibe
First round against a guy who is rebuilding his swing: blessing or a curse?
Hope @EConroy419 has a wild Spring Break the preceding week.
With my current game and only getting four shots:
@ChiFFI: -175
Me: +220
Match over by 15.
Try 847 Customs. They’re local. Nick is a good dude.
Breaking News Alert: Grounds crew spotted on back nine at Seven Bridges. Also, the bald eagle is soaring over the 11th hole. Fantastic news all around.
FTFY
Audit time, what’s your source. I’m counting 12 bridges.
Fixed that for myself.
EDIT: My source was the scorecard I posted previously, with the course’s brown rectangles depicting bridges. I count ten. But perhaps there are levels to this charade I was previously naive to if the course itself is named seven bridges, shows ten bridges on the card, but in actuality has more bridges than they even show. WHERE DOES THIS END? WHERE DO THE BRIDGES LEAD?
So there are seven bridges (yellow dots) over the DuPage River, hence the name. There are four ancillary bridges over the retention ponds on the east side of the course. Note the bridge at the very south is a pedestrian walkway, not part of the course. In total, Seven Bridges has seven bridges over the DuPage river, but 11 bridges in total.
There are more included in the pending federal infrastructure bill.
I’ve requested my scorecards from last week’s Scottsdale trip/match play tourney triumph. Even if CDGA lets me post, I don’t think my conservative 3i bogies as guys are lost in the desert are gonna move it much cuz I stunk a lot in '21.
I appreciate your research, but it’s high time that the course answers to such public outcry. We will get to the bottom of this one way or another.
I anxiously await their response to this matter.
The real question is if a course has 11 bridges do they even have 1?
I’m afraid I’m just going to have to boycott Howevermanygoddamn Bridges until this is sorted out. It’s a sacrifice, but I’ll just need to solider on.
I will also join in on this boycott, its the right thing to do.
