This one really sets up well for the big right miss.
The Naperville/Lisle burrito scene is so confusing. As some one who lived in Lisle Los B would be Los Burritos on Maple Ave. I think we are talking about Los Burritos Tapitillos which is a huge chain in the westrn burbs also amazing. Toss in the new contender of Burrito Pillara makes coordinating plans to get mexican food very confusing.
Head a little east to DG and you have the battle between Tacochela and Los Dos. The latter may have better food (definitely better tortillas), but a bit smaller menu. Current front runner for me is Tacochela, to some extent because of their Arbol and secret green salsa, but mostly because I can order online without having the interact with another human over the phone.
I have never heard of Tacochela, and with all the burrito talk it may have to be dinner tonight since I will be in the area
If you also want lunch tomorrow, get a bowl. They’re pretty massive. I can definitely eat it all in one sitting, but not sure I want to? Their chips are super good too, but a little greasy. They also do Birria tacos if you’re into that (which of course I am).
If anyone wants to venture to Aurora let me know, best taqueria out this way is in a supermercado.
Los Burritos Tapitillos is my go to or Fat Rosie’s in downtown Naperville if I want to go out.
I think that is to clean for me. I bet they dont even have telemundo on tv or a stack of used car magazines from 2018
For DG and the area, I go Taco Grill Salsa Bar on Ogden, though haven’t been post Covid restrictions to review the salsa buffet.
Tacochella - Four birria tacos with the consommé is dinner for me at least once a week.
LosBurTap is more authentic (and cheaper) if we feel like lingua or chile relleno.
We can also do pot luck…everybody brings something to share…
Interesting development. Course I’ve been trying to get on for years now. Kemper just pushing memberships?

The members recently were using a veterans front to keep it a non-profit.

Built by Dan McLean, a Chicago developer. He designed it with a friend. Here’s his initials bunker:

This is a tee box off the bridge.
Quirky place
Same boat as @wseitz26 - I got the email so it can’t be that exclusive and a big membership push.
That looks like a flood risk.
Tacochela is GOAT, everyone in the fam got gift cards for Xmas
Interesting. My BVGC friends might be able to get us on through Kemper.
That’s a floating bridge.
Oh I didn’t see the green box in the middle, just thinking from POV of the pic, I’d guess that was the back tee with a forced carry, probably at the base of a hill and going back up the otherside?
Yeah, you’re right. There’s a little tee box on this island.
Floating artificial tee box plays 100 yards. Actual tee box plays 175 yards.
Just ate at fat Rosie’s last week and every single person we went with got food poisoning. Will go back for the margaritas but paying 6 bucks per taco to feel like death wasn’t fun.
Thinking we gotta rename this event to Battle of the Burritos and see which place is best. Loved tacochella in DG.
I’m all about this
Javi’s in downtown Glen Ellyn is a lesser known, but great burrito joint.
