You have to pay over the phone, you cannot pay the day of. I’ll probably send out an email blast as we get closer to the 19th to remind everyone.

Played Countryside Prarie and Hawk’s View this weekend both for the first time. Enjoyed both a lot. I had a great chance to finally break 80 at Countryside but I’m useless between 110-70 yards right now. What a frustrating thing to suck at. Countryside is a pretty unique layout for the area. Not really a good tune up for my Ryder Cup tourney at Bonnie Brook next weekend as you can absolutely spray it with few consequences.

Totally agree about Prairie course. Best I got was 81, bogied 18 but doubled 9. Greens are usually in good shape so you think every putt is makeable.

I think this is 12 tee at Madison down in Peoria. Plays a touch over 300 yards from those tees - Neil either drove the green or put one in a front yard that’s just off the back of the green across a street.
My school had our end of the year scramble at this place when I taught down there. It’s super short and wide open. Place your bets on an Icarito appearance tonight.

I know some people mentioned interest earlier about filling in if someone had to drop out of the awesome Match Play tournament graciously organized by @JBors. Well, that person is me, as my days as a Chicagoland refugee are numbered. So if someone wants to slide into my spot in the tourney it is yours.
I have a first round matchup scheduled with @TrajMahal who is a certified killer. If this match happens before I relocate I’ll be on Traj’s bag, so beware. As Gary the Goose of Cantigny recently found out, I have zero misgivings about crippling a living creature out on the course.

It is indeed hole #11 at Madison! Additionally, a semi busy street abuts the left side of the fairway with some sparse trees to keep balls in, but the road is very much in play for even a moderate left miss. Those apartments also have some very interesting characters who reside there and occasionally make themselves known to those on the tee box.

Moral of the story, everyone else needs to call and pay. That original email blast worked so I will keep it going.
The way I see it I have 7 days to forget about this then one day to panic and frantically call to sort everything out.
