I’d be happy to take the reins.
Very much enjoyed pasa. So many unique holes, lots of thought and creativity encouraged. I’m not super well versed in the subtleties of different architectures, but was cool seeing things unlike anything I’d played (e.g. 14 fairway, 16 green).
Definitely want to get back.
Thanks for sharing the trix, info added.
Ok, guise. New Northern California Chapter added and I moved everyone from NorCal into that chapter on the spreadsheet. Doublecheck to make sure I am accurate. Didn’t see you on the spreadsheet, @leric90??
I have created a WhatsApp group, so for those who are on WhatsApp and want to utilize that for meetups, chats, please DM me your phone number and I will add you to the group.
yeah i may not be, do you have a link to it by chance? I dont think Ive checked that out in a minute…
I won’t be on deaths door this time
Yo guise
Will be in Alameda with staying at my brother-in-laws place over thanksgiving. Could play golf potentially Friday or Saturday. Wouldn’t want to go to far given family duties, but would be happy to crash someone’s game either of those mornings. If anyone has interest lmk!
I’m also going to be in the area (San Mateo) for a week or so starting tomorrow and would love to meet up for a round or two. I’m willing to drive a reasonable distance.
Damn, looks like I picked the wrong week to leave NorCal. Enjoy, all!
Where should we play? Harding Park seems equidistant.
Corica Park. Wente vineyards. Harding. Baylands.
I can play Friday morning as long as earlier in the day. I need to be back in San Jose early afternoon. Would love to meet up.
Friday will work for me, too. I think I played Wente Vineyards in the past, not too bad. But I’m easy.
Friday early morning should work for me (just need to run by the boss).
Also wasnt planning on taking my sticks for just 1 round, so would need to rent or use a spare set if anyone has.
Spare set - I have some old sets that may be an option for you.
Looks like no a.m. tee times at Vente, Harding, Baylands, or Corica South. But there are some at Corica North.
That should work well for me - maybe we hold a time there for now?
Corica north is like a 6 hole loop right now with dead grass. Dont do it. Go play Sharp park. Or Gleneagles.
Sharp sounds good I have been meaning to get out there.
Get to Sharp Park. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow which could make a few holes a bit muddy as there are drainage issue, but it’s a great option with a ton of history.
Corica North, in case you weren’t clear, is in the process of being rebuilt in the way South was, but they are doing it incrementally and the existing North course is a mess. I played South last February while it was raining, and my shoes barely got wet, it drains so well. When we got to the part of the course where you can see the North, the holes we saw were half underwater.
