TOUR Champ ticket emails went out this morning, anyone able to purchase? Buy Now takes me to an error page.
I didn’t have an issue…does this work for you?
This did work! Thanks
The link they emailed didn’t work for me for some reason.
Grabbed some Friday tickets - Saturday was already sold out.
Grey Goose lounge is my preferred spot once the initial groups make the turn. Hope to see more of y’all there!
Gonna be in Fairburn beginning of July… (I know it’s not Atlanta but it looks close ish)
Any good courses I should check out in that area 30-40 min is the max I could travel
Summer Grove is a solid place to play. Its about 20ish minutes in Newnan GA. Coweta club is also nearby but not a great course. Does the job if you have the itch.
Other Club Corp courses close by as well if you are a member.
May be more like 45 minutes from Fairburn but if you can play The Fields Golf Club. It’s a crowd favorite around here
100% the Fields if you’re willing to drive a little bit extra. Otherwise you’re also close to Wolf Creek which is sneaky pretty good.
Had some guys back out and I’ve got a couple spots open for a 12:27 tee time at Chastain on Saturday if anyone wants to join.
@mshriver3 getting a shout out in the Mark O’meara podcast with the question
thought it was a good question, unfortunately MoM not the best audience for it. We knew it was a non-playing champion, but I think it would be better suited for someone like Danny Willett, Trevor Immelman, etc.
BJGC now $10 for 12-18 practice putting strokes.
edit: Has anyone seen them punch, verticut, top dress, or hydrojet their short games areas? I don’t practice their often enough to notice. Me, the resident hater, would be totally happy with them being upfront about needing to close the greens every other monday or something for preventative maintenance and health.
there will be turnstyle, MARTA card access to the putting green whenever it is finished.
meanwhile, a competing short game facility Putt Shack opens on monday the 21st.
Anyone know how long the range is at Bobby jones? Surprised they didnt make it large enough to have both sides in use at once… that place is always jam packed now a days.
It is. Backside for the Georgia star team and if you reserve a bay.
they teased that and it never really became a thing. weird. and yeah, it’s long enough at like 360 yards.
Well, there was a time when the north range was available for timed reservations. Unlimited balls for an hour for $45. Now, part of the range is (seemingly) reserved for GSU’s golf teams, and it seems like they do a good number of clinics down there as well.
After taking my first trip to pinehurst, this is sad af. What a dichotomy.
