Richmond, Virginia (RVA)

Sweet! I’ll ping you once I have the final towns we’ll be in and what dates.

If I was still living in Lynchburg I’d be very upset to hear Poplar Grove went up that much. I always thought it was a steal

Definitely Poplar Grove a little pricey but it’s worth the cost. Front 9 is Sam Snead design also.

Yes I have seen the big moves. We could get out there for $40-60 on weekends 2013-2017 with Tracy (pro then). Major capital since for sure! I have played 9 recently on my way through.

Sign up, come play, you will love it

Hey everyone. Thinking about going down to the 757 this weekend. Picking between Independence or Stonehouse. Anyone got a recommendation?

Independence should be in a better shape for sure

Is Stonehouse still rough? I haven’t gotten back to it yet.

Its been like a year since we went out that way, it was playable for sure but was missing some major stuff.

Tee boxes and FWS shaggy, etc.

I love the layout too FTR and big stranz fan

Indy is perfect these days.

weird rate structure IMO here

$200/month for a single after initation, probably very low for quality of course

$145 to play on wed morning.

Seems like these two arent on the same planet

Weird. Last time I played we had a group of like 16 people, so they gave a rate at 90 per person which I thought was reasonable. 145 weekday is getting into NOVA territory though

Most ive ever paid out there was $65. So when that new clubhouse went in and they doubled rates I was really bummed.

If I was like 20 mins closer hell I’d switch to be a member there over Roanoke CC/Ashley combo.

The talk was it was trying to go full private, but not charging $275/month for a full family

They may have changed course since Springcreek went full private they can get those people now. Poplar has a quota game every Saturday that I have wanted to go up for. If I wasn’t a 45 min drive over the mountain I would join at 200 a month

did not know that!

Only been there twice, one of their members donates a 4 some to my challenger league outing in Oct and I typically give that away for first place.

Lexington CC is closing down for 2 years and doing renovations and the rumor is they are going to go full private also.

that place needs it bad. Used to be baller af

That’s a bummer to hear about going full private, I’ve been meaning to get a round in there sometime. Sounds like it needs to be sooner rather than later.
