Pardon my ignorance as I wasn’t in last year. Is there a rule of telling the person who you sent your gift it was you or not?
I believe the idea is that once they post a picture of the gift you sent, you reveal that it was you who sent it (if they can’t guess). But also, if you reveal that it’s you in the gift, no biggie. It’s all fun.

It’s not weird to be more excited for your assignment to receive their gift than you are to receive your own is it?
I am for sure pumped for whatever is coming my way, but I am confident (maybe too confident) that I did a great job with my research and analysis.

The anticipation! I know you don’t know who you are (yet), but this 2.5 week delivery timing to my house is taking years off my life! I may have to hand-deliver this to you instead of entrusting USPS, UPS or Fedex.

I have received a package today with no return sender name from a Minnesota address. Since 50% of the Refuge hails from MN, I am assuming this is my Secret Santa gift. I am very excited but as a [no-fun - not my words] traditionalist, I am going to [try and] wait until Christmas to open and report back here.
