I really like oatmeal raisin but if you substitute out the raisin and add dark chocolate chunks, you have a GOAT cookie.

I just dont like raisins, so going to dark chocolate instead sounds delightful
We do regualrly make some straight oatmeal that are quite chewy and lovely

Iāll take a chocolate chip cookie, gingersnap cookie, M&M cookie, crinkle cookie, sugar cookie, peanut butter cookie, spritz cookie, etc etc etc over anything oatmeal raisin.
Give me a large slice of sharp cheddar for dessert over a oatmeal raisin cookie.
If my options are oatmeal raisin cookie or nothing, Iām taking nothing.

Iām starting a Refuge 2025 Cookie Exchange for next year. We can settle this once and for all. I will be shipping out a variety of Oatmeal Raisin just as a heads up. Be prepared to have your socks blown off. Thatās another thing Iād like to address, all those who go to bed with socks onā¦ya suspect.
