Refuge Secret Santa - 2024: See you in November!

I’m easy to please when it comes to golf gifts from actual golfers. So please don’t stress out if you’re my Santa.

I’m pumped to buy a gift for someone. I think I’m more excited about giving than receiving.

Incredible. Really hope this comes up in a conversation:

“So, how’d you get hooked on [tv show]?”

“Oh, I was just investigating my secret santa from my golf-adjacent online message board so I could spend more money and time on their gift than my entire family combined, and had no choice but to watch the show to truly understand them.”

I was extremely proud and confident in the gift I gave last year, preliminary research makes me very unconfident in what I will be able to do this year. Time to work some magic.

I love peanut butter but I swear if I open a box and that’s inside…idk we all know my threats don’t mean shit but I would be disappointed.

I would laugh my ass off though

I hope my contributions are bigger than that, or maybe I am thinking too highly of myself. Can I ramble on any more?

whispers I buy store brand…

And if someone’s favorite is crunchy peanut butter, I know they’re a psychopath and cannot be trusted to make prudent decisions.

Knowing I am a psychopath now frees me up to go through life without caring as much.

I love texture, so crunchy is my choice.

I’ve tried so many times and somehow whoever the hell it is and I end up liking each other. It’s crap.

It’s funny, I really don’t feel that strongly about creamy vs crunchy. But I am here for all subjective food opinions and discussions.

The google machine says people who like crunchy peanut butter have a more positive outlook on life and are more extroverted.

::checks notes::

Yep, makes sense.

I feel bad for the gui looking at my posts and trying to figure out how to send GIFs since that’s the majority of my posting.

Anyone else open their email from @lazyjk and realize that I’ve likely never interacted with the person I got? Awesome, need to do some super-sleuthing!

The suggestions in the email were helpful though - could go a lot of different ways…
