Course was fantastic and I was blown away by the planning and prep the GA guys did.
Coolers of water and gatorades on tee boxes. Trail mix. Local beer. Everything was fantastic and made for a perfect Father’s Day Eve round.
Also, staff at that course was second to none. Would love to do this again next year.

We’re off the course by 1 pm. Last year was surprisingly more comfortable than I think we all anticipated. There’s enough shade and with riding, it wasn’t a swamp fest.
Don’t get me wrong, my college summers in Athens are some of my most treasured memories of working 4 hours a day, going downtown nearly every night, playing video games, floating down the Oconee River and just generally not giving a fuck about anything. But holy hell was it hot as shit. Someday I’m going to make my triumphant return for this event.
