PGA 2K25 Refuge Tour - Info in post 1221 - S28 starts 3/16

I thought I had updated the dates on the match bracket, but I guess I did not. First round concludes on 8/18, so still time if this week is busy.

Could do Thursday

It took @Wigglez getting promoted for me to catch a dub…game is definitely trending. I’d be a mule in the C-Suite tho.

Season 3 game update

Note to players, this was a known bug with the S2 update, double check the Clubhouse Pass season from the Home menu screen, and make sure it’s on Season 3 if you’ve already completed the tiers for S2.

@DetroitGolfer19 takes down @Jeff_M in the first round of match play! He got up to a 3 up lead after 4, and never relented. The match went back and forth a little, but never got closer than 2 up, and ended with a push on 16. Well played!

In an interview after the round, @Jeff_M stated in his best Tiger voice ā€œreally, really tough out there, just couldn’t make any pottsā€

Major shoutout to @Jeff_M for being a formidable opponent and proving that the official unofficial Refuge Tour handicap makes for a fair match!

How does tonight work? 8pm EST

2nd round hole 9’s pin can get absolutely fucked. carded a double par after being on the green in 3. It wasn’t an illegal pin, but it can still bite my shine metal ass.

What course did you guys play?

I’ll be on the course I’m in PST. I could potentially play later or this weekend. I also have an NCAA match to schedule but just give me some times you’re free the next few days and I’ll work on my schedule.

I should have included that detail! We played Silverpine Dunes, one of the first custom courses in 25, courtesy of CrazyCanuck

Throw a course out for @wseitz26 and I tomorrow night.

And since we don’t have strokes either way I’d like to propose if we’re tied after 18 we just start it over and do sudden death instead of the closest to the hole playoff hole the game does

Oh for sure, sudden death playoff holes is the way to do it. Let me do some looking around at some courses later tonight and I’ll give a couple options. Any particular setting or part of the world you are leaning towards? You looking for something with real teeth, or maybe a bit more gettable?

I’m good any night the rest of the week as long as we start before 10pm EST. I’m a golf pro so my weekends aren’t as open as most.

@Mlockjr Beats me 3&2, as we tap in for a pair of birdies on the Par-5 16th green at Shepherds Bay. (one of the final 4 courses in the TGCTours World Cup of Design competition)

He got up to an early lead, and despite my winning 2 holes to keep him in striking distance, after he got 3-up on hole 13, we pushed with par-par-birdie to end the match.

Had a lot of fun tonight! Great course recommendation and match.

I also really appreciate the patience while my internet was down. Damn you AT&T

I’ll throw some out here for consideration.

From the great metatropic, Maverick Bay, his Strantz inspired Irish links course.

For an Australian sand belt setting, Cape Mornington is really good

And then this one I’m just seeing for the first time tonight and playing, if you want somewhat of a different setting in Patagonia, Kaleidoscope Ridge

Took on @dflock24 at Tobacco Road (meta), where he proceeded to shut the door early, winning 5&4, and nearly birdie-ing every hole. I was set to stroke on 14, 16, 17, and 18, but he made sure to take care of things before then in a really impressive display.

17 straight circles before lipping out a 20 foot slider on the last. Was feeling the pressure for sure. Real fun match
