After 40 hours, I swapped from Fade to Draw bias and I think I found it…
I’ve watched some videos and they move the camera around on the green a lot, getting down to the green level to take a quick glance at the slope, but are pretty quick about it.
Appreciate you fighting the war against returning to the office (I’ve never worked a job that could possibly be WFH)
How’d you do this? I think I want to do this too…
Go to my player > appearance and info > it’s in the info tab
I’m curious what y’all’s typical swing traces look like. I find that I have a very consistent tendency to move the stick ever so slightly clockwise toward true north right at the very end (I am playing a fade). Not sure if worth trying to stop it or just account for it, almost feels harder to completely stick the landing and keep it on the exact spot
I think all that matters is where the backswing and downswing land initially, I have a little loop on the backswing and it only reads where my backswing actually hits the first time
Playing the TGCT test events, I can mostly hit shots on Legend but my god I forgot they crank the course conditions. Andrew Waterman has been firmly planted back into reality and will see you all on the CC circuit
Tgc course conditions are bonkers. A lot of their courses are basically made for TGC and as a result the greens are tuned to be played at absurd speeds.
Overall liking it so far. Have career set to Pro, and took a few times to get through Q school, but then won my second KFT event. Draw works perfect for me since I had a little bias like that the old game anyway, but I’ve really had to adjust my course management and not just fire at pins when there’s a hazard in play or you can get short-sided.
Biggest change for me is changing just about everything to “approach” instead of defaulting to pitch or full swing. I can’t tell you how many times I thought my guy was set up for a full swing, and realized I was pitching with an 8-iron from 130 yards instead of hitting full sand wedge. Tough to adjust to that mid-swing.
This is so true. A lot tougher starting my cut off the water to a left pin now when that pull shot is lurking
I think the high wind and firm conditions is almost broken from a game physics perspective. It’s hard, which is fine, but it’s super unfair… feels impossible to keep a ball in the fairway.
I’m glad I haven’t opened my spare dual sense that I got my self a while ago because I have a feeling I’m one or two double crosses way from demolishing the on in my head on my desk by accident.
Going to start slowly replacing bunkers with “painted on” sand on Chambers, Hopefully will have it done in a month or so lol. It’s tedious, since you can just swap from sand surface to sand texture, and chambers has a lot of sand
That makes it look and play so much better! The only thing missing now is the “completely fucked” lie in waist high fescue, or the clumps of grass you get at a place like Pinehurst.
On a scale of 1-10, how mad would people be if I made the first event of our first season in 2K25 the back nine at TPC Scottsdale? “The Tuff Boy”
Yeah that’s us, @Jeff_M is the guru and GOAT.
If I’m on when you are and/or on XBOX I’m Fred Fishsticks
Would thoroughly enjoy
