PGA 2K23 Refuge Tour - Info Post #9562 - S24 Begins 11/25

I’m actually kind of concerned now that Pro might end up being exceptionally easy with further leveling, I haven’t touched fittings yet either. And I realize this is a very quick flip from me, sorry for coming in hot.

Anyone new coming in, give it a few rounds and get some basic upgrades. It’s kind of an insane difference

Partial shots are much better than a lot of the various shot types. @kmart796 try the first round of the society settings… it’s quite a step up from default Pro.

This quite a step up

TGCTours is testing so I don’t think any final decisions will be made for their settings for a couple weeks, but there is talk that Doyley might go to Legend swing difficulty. They might make some tweaks to things at game launch as well.

Gdog’s society settings are insane

I’ve actually turned off the shot setup feedback in prep for TGCT - it still pops up when you go to the scout camera, but disappears when you are at address. Honestly it’s not too bad for me, and I’m getting a feel for distance control especially on the greens without the vibration.

This is where I think EA did it better with putting and short game… the backswing length was so much shorter that it felt realistic. Its hard for me to fathom no vibration on a 80% putt right now

-14 in the first round at Pebble in the test event. I did a few more upgrades but this is with a 77 rated Sculptor with mostly just the basic skills that get you the increased sweet spots. I was already playing on the society settings

oh your fineeeeeeeeee

Do club upgrades get lost if you swap the skin for that club?

The fittings stay with whatever club skin they were added to. When you evolve a club, that is when the fittings get lost, but then the evolved club gives you a larger + to whatever fitting you added.

The below video is copied at the timestamp where he goes over the fitting system

I’m playing 4 round events, can confirm it left it as pin location 1 for both rounds 1 and 2. I’ll play 3 and 4 tomorrow and report back on those as well. All my other events up until now changed pins every round, so it might just be Pebble that is bugged.

This game looks like a pretty unreal refresh…excited to get my hands on it next week!

I recommend logging in and out multiple times a day - rewards seems so bugged. I just got the Lulu outfits randomly.

Found another bug. Won a 9 hole match in ranked matchmaking and it completed the crush the scorecard quest (score of 55 or better for 18 holes). Comes with 500+ VC and 5 different fittings lol

What does the cheapest early access version cost in the US? In the EU it’s 110 bucks, think it’s kinda steep…

$100 for deluxe, $120 for legendary.

I wouldn’t buy the deluxe but I do think legendary is worth it.

I’m sorry for asking questions that have probably been snswered 100 times already, but what are the benefits of the Members Pass? Cause that looks like the main advantage of the Legend Edition.

Ask away! It’s a lot of money for a game, you should know what you’re getting. That is the reason you’d buy Legend edition, to get access to the next 15 months of clubhouse pass premium. Check out this video, he goes through the entire Season 1 of clubhouse pass to show what you get with the premium tier. It’s mostly cosmetics, although there is a shot called the Thai Spinner that is behind the paywall which currently most players don’t agree with since it’s a bit pay to win, so we’ll see if they end up changing that.

Edit to add: I believe each season of Clubhouse pass premium is $10 USD, and there are five seasons planned. So if you aren’t sure about more than 3 months from now if you’ll still be playing, maybe hold off on the Legend edition.

The price of the game will decrease in like a month, right?
