PGA 2K23 Refuge Tour - Info Post #9562 - S24 Begins 11/25

My ball watching me play sawgrass

E, -7, -4

I was LPCP last season

I also didn’t get flighted because I didn’t put my handle there, but I’m guessing I’m LPCP – shot the -2, 0, -3, 5 on the bottom row

were those your rounds on TPC Sawgrass or Crystal Downs? With Crystal Downs being a LiDAR, it’s possible older consoles could have lag on such a large file. If it’s on TPC Sawgrass then that’s a 2k/HB problem.

It was any course that I played, including the driving range trying to get swing calibration fixed. It was a 2K/HB problem that was fixed with the latest patch.

Was that your quali scores or the Gold Boy scores? Quali was 4 rounds so just wanted to make sure

Gotcha, you are flighted now

That was for Gold Boy. I think I put my qualifying rounds in Season 17 by mistake. Nothing that would bump me out of LPCP.

All set, no worries

Come on guys… save space here… who else was victimised by 17?

Is it worth buying the game while it’s only 20$ or is it still unplayable?

No, it’s fixed now. It was bad for like a week. Definitely worth $20.

The Gold Boy Standard - WEEK 1 UPDATE

They may have massacred Gold Boy on social media by attempting to turn Scottie Scheffler into him, but he lives on here.

Individual flight winners:

  • Young Hitters: @BlakeG is back, and wins by a wide margin, it wasn’t event close. It remains to be seen if anyone will be able to end this run of utter dominance.
  • C-Suite: @KyaKona breaks through in C-Suite to start the season off with a bang
  • Strapped: @etrackp with a narrow win here, only a 2 shot margin so it was a well fought battle in Strapped.
  • LPCP: @ChuckV247 might have found something early, and wins easily here

You will each now be presented with a Gold Boy jpeg, please enjoy

We will now shoot up the east coast of the US to Merion, welcome to the C-Suite Classic.

Dammit forgot to enter my qualifying scores, and can’t open the Google sheet at work.

Can you add +2, -2 and +11 for me please?

Welcome to LPCP

The C-Suite Classic - WEEK 2 UPDATE

Big thanks to Merion for hosting, I hope everyone enjoyed a taste of the C-Suite life. I apologize for the hotel running out of shrimp cocktail the one evening.

Individual flight winners:

  • Young Hitters: @BlakeG yet again, but this time by only 3 shots. The pack is hungry.
  • C-Suite: @KyaKona goes back to back!
  • Strapped: @dflock24 is the low score in the clubhouse, @mclain posted a round one score that was competitive but did he finish the tournament? If you did play all three rounds and can let me know by tomorrow morning, I can finalize it. Too late to play now though if you hadn’t already.
  • LPCP: @jeffvalois winning in the scorecard playoff over @ChuckV247, well played both

Apparently a wicker basket went missing at some point during the week, as soon as I smooth that over with the club we’ll get the winners their trophy baskets. Getting reports of a ghostly Gold Boy-esque figure that was seen around the grounds after dark.

No new qualifiers in the sheet, if you did try to qualify and didn’t post the scores let me know.

Now heading overseas to scenic Austria, and the Toto Wolff and Friends Invitational. The host is excited to be in his home country to see our Tour during the break before the Australian GP.

From the name I figured this next course was another Adam Benjamin course. Very glad to see it’s not. I hate Adam Benjamin courses.

Me to @BlakeG at the end of season 1 (I’m sure the following season will go better for me than it did for Mercedes!)

I didn’t know that was the name behind arcticfury, good to know for future host courses. I’d say his courses are fine if you want to mindlessly hit some shots and look at scenery, I’ve played my fair share of them, but I suppose not the best for a competition course.
