Yea… we have a 1 year old… I don’t think you want those thoughts in her head … let me help you lol
Great point. Back to the drawing board
Unless you’re ready for that. Don’t assume anything.
Boo this man. Gonna miss the BBQ and the Sims?
Not to mention whatever bottle of bourbon I bring…
I can hang for a bit. Listen you wanna house me when I get divorced?
You’ll love Phoenix.
If I win the event… who knows what will happen?
And Jimmy’s…amirite @chrismarz ??
Its possible that one can go to Jimmy’s, and not recall being there too…
…So I’ve been told, of course.
Hate to say it but I’m a 50/50 at this stage…
The old man has a trip he won through work with his 2020 performance, and it’s either Sunriver, OR the 7th-11th or Disney World a few weeks later. We are all leaning towards Oregon just because none of us care for Disney at this age, and Sunriver seems to have some amazing golf.
I’d hate to miss out but we’ll see!
Hey I know it got talked about before just seeing if there was an update what hotels people booked. As I always wait till last minute.
Recapturing the 1984 Magic…
Yep, that’s definitely the place. A block away from the Peoria Civic Center.
My Dad actually attended that Bulls pre-season game. (No clue if he was at the Pere Marquette the night prior, though.)
I’ll be there - should be a very similar party*.
'* a restful night of sleep free from toddler wake-up time
…. Says the gui looking most forward to the quiet night alone in the Bulls crack party hotel…
Ahem.
How do we figure out our quotas?
It’s the end of the school year for me. Tomorrow all of our 9th and 10th graders move go home for the summer. Friday, our 11th graders have a morning seminar on college applications and essays and they move out by Friday evening. Saturday is graduation with our Seniors and their families, and by Saturday night they will all have moved out as well.
Between now and then there is plenty that can go pear-shaped. Myself and the other dorm parents are taking shifts being an “active presence” until 1:30am on Friday night to help prevent bad decisions that could lead to a senior not walking with their class.
In just 3 days I can be a human again and go back to working on my golf swing and spending my rest time here.
Apologies for the lack of #content for the event over the last few weeks. I’m in the middle of the travel baseball season grind…IYKYK
Still working with @sundaybag on the merch site and Lick Creek is starting to really pop. Not that I’ve played there yet this year (see above), but it looks great from the road.
@Jrembold as far as quota goes you just take 36 and then subtract your course handicap, which you can do using the below USGA calculator. We’ll be validating handicaps probably a week or two out from the event.
