Peoria Korn(Kan) Ferry Tour Qualifier - TBD 2022 - (Also a Busch Light Mega-Thread)

Yeah, as of now I have no idea if I’ll be back in STL or not - but would definitely make the trip if I am.

Strapped: Peoria Redux is officially open to the public. You are more than welcome to invite non-nest members and friends. As you probably know, successful qualifiers must be a member of the nest and all players must have a verifiable CDGA/GHIN handicap prior to tee off. Strapped Peoria Redux - The Clubhouse Indoor Golf

This is top notch.

Anyway to buy merch with the sweet logo without being able to participate?

Signed up, going to do everything I can to make this the front or back end of a STL visit.

@serwin, you’re up

I’ll sign up and pitch it to the wife.

Absolutely. We’ll have a merch portal open for a while to anyone and everyone.

By my understanding, all orders are drop shipped to us here the week of the event, so we can just touch base on getting your order shipped out to you afterwards.

Do we have a timing on the merch portal? Need to know when to refinance the house

Based on previous conversations with @sundaybag, we’ll start working on it here in a couple of weeks.

I’d imagine that the portal would be stood up in late May or early June if the timing matches that of the other events I’ve seen so far.

What night will there be a live performance by Scatgrub Band with @djpie on lead guitar for “Peace & Positivity?”

Funny you should ask…we’ve actually been exploring that.

We’ll leave it up to the Pie Man if he wants to hop on stage or not.

So my official travel plans have shifted a bit. I have to be at my folks on July 3rd for a baby shower. I now find myself in the position of having to convince my wife to spend 9 full days in Indiana, and make the drive back in one shot on Sunday, to make playing Saturday work. This on top of the drive 3 hours, play golf drive 3 hours on Saturday. Seems reasonable to me.

I will assume I am late to the party on discovering that the same architect designed Lick Creek, Innisbrook & Waveland (the inaugural Strapped track), but it still blows my mind.

Packard is like Johnny Appleseed, courses just sprinkled everywhere.

That makes sense, but he may have to duke it out with Tom Bendelow in the netherworld for the Johnny Appleseed moniker. I know Bendelow designed some gems in Chicago, but the goat track I played in Waterloo, IA last summer was no Medinah.

Bendelow designed Madison GC, which is our Sunday course. Best of both worlds!

That’s tremendous and all the more reason to muster a respectable showing amongst the works of Johnny Appleseed Squared.

Grew up in Peoria and lived there the first 20 years of my life and just learned of this by reading this post.

Same here. Born and raised in Chillicothe. Living in FL since 2005. Flying in for this event - just paid the fees and flights are booked. See everyone there.

Pitching this to my wife this week, after her birthday.

Should be able to make Saturday ideally. And drive back after.

Doubt she’ll want to watch the kiddo for a night by herself.

My girlfriend will be there. Pitch it as a networking opportunity, then we both win
