I ran this idea by @DrJ first and I have a scramble event on October 12 at Madison. Its a fire dept fundraiser and they get a good turnout. Maybe play that in the morning and head over to LC for a twilight round.

After some discussions in the 2CGC discord and some winter boredom, I think it may be time to bring back a Peoria event. Very preliminary stages here but want to throw it out there and see where it goes.
Eyeing August based on some opening in the 2CGC calendar and that month working best for me personally.
Stretch goal would be 40 players but I’d be happy if we got it to 20.
In my head, 2 days of play are best, either Friday & Saturday with a bonus round Sunday, or Saturday & Sunday with bonus round Friday. Thinking Lick Creek and Madison for the courses.
All that being said, throwing some polls up to see what interest is actually out there before spending more time thinking about hypotheticals.

Love the idea @camgriff2 - I would personally vote for a Friday or Friday-Saturday combo. In my opinion, Lick Creek is a must play. Have always toyed with helping to host a B-N event too, but never get very far.
Still working out family vacation plans for the summer, so can’t commit 100% yet, but would love to be a part of it. Thanks for getting it rolling!

Hey everyone - we just opened up signup for our annual GFPD fundraiser scramble in honor of Max. Golf this year is on Friday, May 16th at Weibring Golf Club (ISU). We have both a morning and afternoon session. The last couple of years we’ve sold out within a few days, so if anyone wants to get in we’d love to get a Refuge group out there!

A few Chicago guys played the CDGA Mid-Am qualifier out in Kankakee last week and I noticed @phegs32 qualified, congrats!

I know most of the Peoria guis check in on the STL thread, but in case there are others in this thread, I’m going to be passing through Peoria next week, planning to play Metamora on 6/22 with @SK777. Would be happy to have a couple more join up if anyone is free.
