No idea if you’re joking or not, so here’s my message:
Nobody is forcing anybody to come. If you don’t like the cost, I don’t give a fuck. Should anybody not wish to pay, checks notes, $100 per round for golf plus some money to charity, find a different event to play in or plan your own.

It’s a trip that’s been worth it every year. From knowing absolutely zero people at the ‘23 Ope, to messing around at baseball games and munis in Milwaukee this year. Can’t put a price on it so it’s worth every penny

Theyre nuts and you usually get hit with a mileage cost too, and then theres the gas consumption. My wife had teh brilliant idea we should rent one for a vacation one year, and I had to list the myriad reasons why this was a terrible idea.

Ope is the only non negotiable on my family calendar. The price is worth it no matter what it is.
Just gotta make sure there’s something on the line for the closie on 19 at woodlands so when I steal @Worst12onEarth’s soul I get properly compensated.

I never did get to see that officially, you could have paid off those other people who said you were closer. Also, are we even sure they have up to date eye exams? Was a properly calibrated measuring device used? All of these things lead to a very scrutinized result.
