Mixed bag. I would like to think that people who contribute to the cooler will also be the ones who grab a beer out of it. Also, getting drinks from the course is certainly encouraged, as well, as they are nice enough to turn a blind eye to us gathering behind the green post golf too.
And, to that point, when/if we do gather again, please, please, PLESE return carts first.

OPE CUP FOR A CAUSE 2: THE BATTLE OF THE PATS
That’s right, folks, a battle of epic proportions will take place at this years Ope.
Our friends @ReallyFatPat and @ThatDuffGuyPat will serve as captains of this years event.
Pats, each of you will be entitled to select 1 Vice Captain prior to the draft.
Draft Date: TBD, likely in a few weeks
THE CAUSE :
This year’s FORMAT will be different
We are going to be playing a game I’ve dubbed Birdie Ball
Rules: each captain will select (via draft) teams of their choosing. For the remainder of the weekend, competition will be based on combined total of birdies made by each team. The team that makes the most birdies wins.
Now, before I get the question of will this be net birdies or gross birdies- I’m going to say it will be whatever UKG actually allows us to do. Ideally it would count any and all birdies but we’re at the mercy of the technology itself.
This FORMAT allows any and all group combinations for tee times as well as allows those in the regional to play too if they should so chose. In theory it should be easy for everyone.
