If that’s the case we might be dealing with more than just hiccups this year.

This a bit or do you think it was behind the paywall?

I thought most threads start out behind the paywall until they’re elevated beyond for various reasons. How like each major’s threads get moved for the week.

Events are typically always public to be as inclusive as possible.

Maybe this is just a play to get my own room, who’s to say.

I’d mop the floors at Foxtails just to change the sheets on Maya’s guest bedrooms.

@TheEyeTest

Battisstatus Ope Journal. Thanks for taking time out of your day.

1.) what’s your complete Culver’s order.

2.) if you had to pick between a full bag of clubs from a brand that wasn’t Titleist, what would you pick?

3.) root beer or cream soda?

@bignanski just saw you step into the press room.

1.) start bench cut: Brand New, Coheed and Cambria, Alkaline Trio (I know this is hard and I’m sorry but I had to do it)

2.) who is your current favorite PGA tour player?

3.) would you rather drink an MGD or a Steveweiser?

4.) your current putter is somehow destroyed, because it’s your pride and joy, you have it insured and now have the ability to replace it with whatever you’d like. What would you do?

@brettfreddy5

Hello! How are you this afternoon?

1.) do you have a favorite OEM? If yes, which one?

2.) would you rather play twilight golf or dew sweep?

3.) what’s your favorite major professional sport?

4.) PB&J or Grilled Cheese?

Thank you for your spirit and your class.

  1. Complete Culver’s order - Double bacon butter burger (lettuce, onion and maybe tomato - usually a game time decision), sub fries for curds, diet Root Beer (or sub an Oreo concrete if I’m in the mood to hate myself 45 minutes later).

  2. A very tough question, but I’ll go Callaway. As much as it’d kill me to have to sub out my mini BRNR for something as dumb sounding as an Elyte, it’s well worth it to keep the Apex MBs. Plus I love the U woods. Devastated about losing my LAB, though.

  3. Root Beer. See above. Fitz’s in St. Louis is phenomenal if any of you ever have the chance to partake. I’ll never understand cream soda. It just tastes so viscous. No thank you.

It’s borderline mean-spirited, is what it is. But the Ope Journal doesn’t become the highly-respected outfit that it is by lobbing meatballs over the middle.

Start: Coheed. Over two decades of absolute heat, evolved and matured and highly nuanced writing, arrangement, production, and overall sound, and nary a “bad” song along the way. All gas. The only “easy” pick here.

The next two I have literally gone back and forth on while typing this out, so it’s closer than I want it to be.

Bench: Alkaline Trio. First 5 records and the Remains EP are all-world. They also get credit for opening my heart to music. They lose points for everything since This Addiction, which admittedly was the last release I bought and really the most recent one I’ve even listened to. Would be delighted for someone to tell me I’m sleeping on one of the modern records but the body of work through Remains stands on its own as one of the great punk/post-punk bands ever. Skiba’s little fling with Blink was amusing.

Cut: Brand New. All 5 records absolutely fuck, they’re all very different from one another, but there’s a through-line there where it doesn’t feel like the band has reinvented itself with every release. Jesse turning out to be a shit bag just tinges everything with an off-flavor. Makes me question wanting to go to their shows or buy the records. And I hate him, especially for being gross, but also for making me feel this way.

I don’t know if I have one, honestly. Rory making me feel things at Augusta almost isn’t fair. I’m going to go with Ludvig. Love everything about that kid; the way he swings the club, how fast he works, his demeanor on and off course. Should be an exciting career to follow.

Whichever is free

Had to lob one meatball down the middle. I’m DMing @Mackmade and getting another Anser 2-style in the works.
